a productivity-lover who makes things on the internet
I am an occupational therapist who currently works in a local school district working with students and teachers to facilitate access to education for students who have more difficulty doing so.
In the present, I am taking CS50 Web Programming with Python and Javascript and starting to build my portfolio website, which I plan on improving over time.
I first started programming by taking a Udemy course on HTML and CSS for responsive web design. I progressed quickly and began learning Javascript. Then, I realized I was missing some core computer science fundamentals and enrolled and completed CS50's Introduction to Computer Science course offered by Harvard University.
I live in Kirkland, WA currently, but I'ved lived in many cities in California and Texas in my past. I have a fluffy cat named Indie. Masters in Occupational Therapy and B.S. in Biochemistry from Texas Woman's University and UT Dallas, respectively. I'm married to a wonderful husband named Jake. Together, we love pour-over coffee, chai tea, organic heavy cream, and living an exciting a simple life.
In the future, I plan on learning advanced JS concepts such as OOP, learn React, Node.js, and related things.
I plan on making a productivity web application that combines a calendar, to-do list, skill tracker, and a notepad to organize projects and daily tasks related to programming and my job as well.
